Update on Time Warner, HBO and The Alzheimer’s Project

Last week, we announced Time Warner Cable would provide a free preview of HBO so that its customers could view The Alzheimer’s Project — the HBO documentary which debuted last evening. The Time Warner Cable representative whom we spoke with provided incorrect information. Time Warner Cable of Central New York is not providing free HBO access this week to view the specials.

Time Warner Cable is, however, making the films available through its On-Demand service. Customers can watch all four parts of The Alzheimer’s Project free of charge on the Entertainment On-Demand Channel (Channel 551 in the Syracuse, Watertown and Mohawk Valley areas; Channel 977 in the Southern Tier). HD customers can see the films on the HD Showcase On-Demand (Channel 799 in all areas). All four parts are available now.

The films, in full, can also be viewed online at HBO.com.
